A joint conference on 'Geological Science and Geological Engineering' will be held at Shenzhen on 18th and 19th September 2009. The conference is co-organised by GS Guangdong Province, GSHK, Science Association of Shenzhen City, and two other organizations.
The purposes of the conference are to promote the applications for Geological Science on urban environments, to encourage a closer cooperation of geological and geotechnical experts, and to display the recent advances in geological researches in the Region. For details please refer to the attached notice.
You are cordially invited to join the event by filling the enclosed form and sending an Abstract to this email address by 5th of June. Full scale paper may be submitted in the meeting for publication later in the year.
The registration fee for the conference is RMB800 (RMB400 for students).
For GSHK members, if you have finance difficulties in attending the meeting, please let us know. We can support part of your registration fee.
