it doesnt belongs to animal kingdom, but a protista. The earliest animal known is from ediacara biota or even, is from mistaken point. but all those biota of earliest known animal are around 600 millions old and quite young for the discovery. But molecular evidence sugggested that the earliest animal may appear as early as 800million years or even 1.2 billion yeras old
