As previously advised, we are going to arrange a two-week trip to North Xinjiang this summer.
Although we are still discussing with local travel agents about the schedule of the trip, we need to collect details of participants soonest, to get the best price for the flights between Shenzhen and Urumuqi.
The tentative plan for the trip is to leave Shenzhen on 18th June (Sat) and get back on 1st Aug (Sat). Attached map will give you a rough idea on the route. Please note that the trip would be tough and physically demanding - to travel 380km per day on average means long hours in SUV every day !!
The budget would be around RMB 7500 to RMB9000 plus airfares. I wish the airfare would be no more than RMB4000.
