Now experts take us on a journey to discover killer bugs the size of hawks, snakes the size of buses, to sharks that could bite a truck in half. We investigate the latest discoveries, explore remote sites and follow the science behind the mind-blowing size of these creatures.

In episode one, WATER, follow scientists and experts as they look at some mega beasts the world has seen, including the Pelagornis Sandersi...the largest bird ever to soar Earth's skies with a mega wingspan of 24ft...the same as a fighter jet. Also, meet the largest snake ever - the Titanoboa; the largest predatory marine reptile, the Pliosaur; the biggest predator of all time, the Ocean killer Megalodon; and still alive today - the Blue Whale.
