Despite the discovery of feather in some basal Chinese Tyrannosauroid species such as Yutyrannus and Dilong. The recent skin fossils find in Albertosaurus, Daspletosaurus, Gorgosaurus, Tarbosaurus, and Tyrannosaurus in neck, abdomen, hips and tail shows that the Tyrannosauridae species are probably absent of feather.
